The standard factory fitted Bosch valve was and still is prone to failure of the rubber diaphragm inside, leading to a boost leak.
20 years ago, Forge Motorsport recognised this common failing and developed an aluminum two piece replacement recirculation valve, utilising an aluminum piston as a replacement for Bosch plastic valve, (originally the FMCL007P). This valve soon became the most copied and imitated in the valve marketplace.
The FMDV008 turbo recirculation valve is the result of 25 years of continued experience and engineering expertise. With the reputation for innovating and manufacturing the best automotive valves in the world, you can be certain that there is currently no better replacement valve available. Forge's recirculation valve features a greater flow rate than the OEM Bosch valve, as well as a faster response time, due to its revised design.
⭐ 10/10, replacement for my stock 1.8t mk4 Golf DV, build quality is over the top ⭐
⭐ Great bit of kit, well made, easy to service ⭐
⭐ I bought the FMDV008 and the quality is outstanding from the packaging to the product itself, really is a piece of quality kit, easily fitted with the simple instructions included.... and it really does improve the performance ⭐
By using the associated service kit (FMDVSK), as seen below, the life of the valve can be extended, and the performance can be maintained. With a lifetime guarantee, you can be sure the valve is reliable for your car.
It is fully customisable to fit your application with two uprated springs provided in the kit. Forge Motorsport's improvement on the original valve has a compact design, meaning easy fitment under the engine cover. The valve is assembled with a 25mm side pipe, and the vacuum port on the top of the valve is 6mm in size

Hello, I bought a dump valve FMDV008 looking at the photos on your site I wonder about the direction of assembly my car is an Audi TT mk1, if I understand the operation on your photos it would be mounted upside down. Hence my question can you confirm the direction of assembly please..
hello , the boost should enter the valve in the side port , the lower port vents back to the intake.
Hi there, I have a 2008 Audi tt 2.0L tfsi, would this fit my car, thanks
No, the equivalent replacement recirculation valve we offer for the MK2 Audi TT 2.0 TFSI can be found by searching for part number FMFSITVR.
Hi I'm Looking for a diverter valve for my Mini r56 1.6 N46, advice please? cheers.
Hi Monti,
from what i gather the N46 engine does not have a turbo so you would not require a valve of any sort
Hi i'm looking for a turbo recirculation valve for a renault clio mk4 2013 0.9 tce. would you be able to advise me on which one would fit my car. Thanks, Lewis
Hello
The product you need for your vehicle is FMDV15.
Hi, I have a mk1 Audi TT and about 10 yrs ago I bought the Forge diverter valve (007p) from yourselves which had always performed excellently; last year i bought the service kit again as i thought id treat it to a second service! ever since refitting though i have had flutter from the dv when taking my foot off the accelerator at low speed/ including when just blipping the accelerator pedal, but the car holds boost well at full throttle - the dv has always had the yellow spring fitted (with no additional spacers) as it’s stage 1 remapped and I wonder if there could have been a problem with the replacement piston/seals I received? Or if there is something else I can try to resolve this. Cheers Mr Nelson
N75 failure at point of service is an unlikely coincidence and, by the process of elimination, would have a look at the vacuum/pressure hose connected between the FMCL007P and N75 to see if if the seal and/or flow integrity of this hose is in order. Otherwise it will be worth opening the valve to see if one of the O rings (piston and lid) have been broken or pinched upon reassembly and closure of the valve.
Reference your quality of the service kit question the o rings are not checked as part of Forge Motorsport QC processes (sourced externally where ISO 9001 QC processes have been applied) but you will have likely noticed a size problem upon fitting these to their respective recesses, and the piston is QC checked against machined tolerances and assembly quality before packing and despatch.
hello . is ok for audi rs2 ? regards,
Please enquire by email to john@forgemotorpsort.co.uk with an image of the stock diverter valve (the stock diverter valve might be the very similar 25mm ported Bosch type but some of them have an electronic solenoid incorporated into the body).
What is the OD and ID of the black pipe for the top which is supplied with the kit?
6mm OD / 3.5mm ID, typically connected to 4mm ID vacuum hose.
It's not really a question but more an FYI I'd like to provide you. I can tell you it fits perfectly on Clio mk4 2012-> 1.2 tce 120 and I'm really happy with your beautiful diverter valve. No additionnal noise, so it's really stealthy, and the throttle response is sharper, love it.
Thank you for the feedback. much appreciated !
Hello which colour spring is best for a 2001 Saab 95 2.3 SE? Thanks
If the vehicle is standard ( no ecu tune ) I would go with the green spring which is installed in the valve from new
I dont understand why you need to change the spring. If it fit like the instruction, the spring only "fight" with the boost when gas is out, so only fight to vacuum, and this do not change after stage 1. If it fit reverse, on gas, boost is up and down of the BOV, but without gas, boost is under and vacuum over the BOV, so it may have more sense, itsnt it? I install yellow spring on stage 1 s3 8l, (240hp) and it does not sound like is discharging. Great product!!
you are correct
Hello I drive an 1.8T (8N) running 1.3 bar of boost pressure and experiencing pressure loss; which spring would be best? Hallo ich fahre 1.8t mit 1.3 bar Ladedruck, welche Feder wäre am besten? Da manchmal Ladedruck entweichen tut?!
For 1.3 bar of boost pressure please fit the yellow spring. Please also see the full range of springs below for this valve specification and their related boost pressure range.
Green - 5-15 PSI (0.35-1.03 Bar)
Yellow - 15-23 PSI (1.03-1.59 Bar)
Blue - 23-30 PSI (1.59-2.07 Bar)
Red - 30 + PSI (2.07 Bar +) – not included in the FMDV008 tuning kit.
Gelb - 15-23 PSI (1,03-1,59 Bar)
Blau - 23-30 PSI (1,59-2,07 Bar)
Rot - 30 + PSI (2,07 Bar +) – nicht im Tuning-Kit FMDV008 enthalten.
Hi. I ordered this valve and service kit. I am going to mount it on my Audi a4 b6 1.8t 163 hp. ECU is remapped and generates around 1 bar. Am I supposed to use the standard equivalent spring (green)? Your faithfully Maciej Morawiec
Thank you for the order - please fit the yellow spring included with the FMDV008 valve kit as this is the appropriate spring for 1 bar of pressure.
