Forge Remote Test Technician Program 

With many vehicle manufacturers using not only the same engines across their range, along with similar chassis platforms, many parts fit the same across multiple vehicles. Whilst Forge have always aimed to develop products specific to an application, rather than a generic product that is adapted to fit, our historical experience is that many of our products will fit other vehicles although we may not have performed the fitting directly ourselves. 

Many aftermarket product suppliers simply assume that a part will fit all related vehicles, often to the frustration of their customers. At Forge we prefer to work with our customers and offer a no-risk reward for helping us to confirm that a product fits certain vehicles via our Remote Test Technician program.

On some of our product listings, as well as a confirmed fitment guide your will see the 'May also fit' vehicles. These vehicles are where the original manufacturer's parts are the same, but we have not actually fitted the Forge part ourselves.

Whilst we believe our part will fit, there may be a shape or size constraint due to the presence of an different hose in that location, or a wiring loom change, for example. What we ask is that you fit the part to your vehicle, confirm it has fitted, and in return you will receive a reward. If it does not fit you will be given a full refund.

Participating In The Program

To participate as one of our Remote Test Technicians, you will need to agree to certain criteria.

  • You will be based in the UK
  • You should be installing the product yourself. This is so we can ask questions if necessary, and we will not accept any cost of an installation by a third party that you may incur.
  • We will require images of the confirmed fitment (phone camera images are ideal) plus full model details including make, model, engine size, stock BHP and engine code and any issues you experienced during fitting and how you overcame them.

How It Works

You purchase the product at full cost from the website. Using the instructions available, you fit the product to your vehicle – these instructions are of course model specific to tried tested applications within our advertised product range and will be of varied instructional value. You supply us with images of the product fitted and details of your vehicle – please take clear pictures as we may need to use these for updated fitting instructions. You then email this information to media@forgemotorsport.co.uk so that we can confirm fitment, and then provide you with a 25% off voucher for any future website purchase, along with enrolling you into our VIP Club once it becomes available.

If for any reason the product does not fit, we will of course refund you in full, subject to the satisfactory return of the product, and also supply a 15% website voucher to thank you for your participation. All participants in this program may be offered discounted products for further fitment testing.
