After the success of the FMDV22 Forge Motorsport has now developed a recirculating Valve option for the VAG 1.5 TSI engine. It uses our tried and tested FMDV008 recirculation valve, this valve has been with us for some time and has proved time and again to be tough, durable and ultra-reliable. By adding this valve, it prevents turbo surge and prolongs the life of your engine’s turbocharger.
As the engine does not have a diverter valve fitted as standard, Forge have reused our tried and tested FMDV008 valve that increases the throttle response during gear changes by reducing turbo lag. It has been designed to help the turbocharger maintain its rotational speed ready for when you accelerate, whilst also taking the strain away from the impeller. Without removing this stress from your turbo, it could cause premature failure, especially on engines and modified vehicles.
Like with all our valves you are able to customise it to fit your application with two uprated springs provided in the kit. Due to its clever design, changing the spring is a very simple process, simply undo the fasteners attaching the valve top and remove the spring. Its that easy!
Due to the exposed position of the OEM boost pipe and the nature of an engines heat cycle, the plastic the OEM pipe is made from can deteriorate over time becoming brittle and susceptible to boost leaks.
This kit totally replaces this plastic pipe from turbo to manifold with a silicone hose (available in a choice of colours), and everything else you need to install the valve is included in the kit together with full instructions.
• Anodised CNC machined billet couplers and components along with a tuneable CNC machined twin piston Forge Motorsport valve

• Unlike other valves on the market the Forge valve will not bring on any check engine lights (EML)
• The Forge silicone hose in this kit has been designed to include a quality inner liner of modified silicone known as Fluorosilicone. This ensures the colour of the silicon hose stays bright and vibrant and unlike our competitors will not deteriorate over time
• This means Forge Motorsport hoses are suitable to be used with modern long-life coolants, Organic Acid Technology coolants (O.A.T.) and oil mist

The majority of Forge Motorsport products come with a limited lifetime warranty (brakes pads excluded). All warranty claims must be accompanied by the original proof of purchase to enable us to help you. Failure to supply this proof will result in your claim or enquiry being denied.

Do not use aggressive (acidic) car cleaning products, particularly traffic film remover solutions or shampoos to clean your intercooler, radiator, or oil cooler. The use of these products can damage Forge Motorsport cooling systems and invalidate your warranty. These are often found at car washes. A light, warm, soapy solution (free of harsh acidic cleaning compounds) should be used to clean you cooler and thoroughly rinsed away. We recommend that you should inspect your product on a regular basis for bent and/or crushed fins. Any bent fins should be carefully straightened to allow ambient air to pass through the core face. At the time of installing your Forge radiator, an approved coolant must be used and added to the coolant system. Be sure you never mix coolant and always use distilled water.
This warranty does not apply to any defect in the goods arising from fair wear and tear, wilful damage, accident, negligence by you or any third party, use otherwise than as recommended by the supplier, failure to follow the supplier’s instructions, or any alteration or repair carried out without the supplier’s approval.

Delivery is free of charge for all orders £200 (ex VAT) or over. Products are sent by standard DPD service which is usually a next day service, but can take 2 days in transit. We reserve the right to ship smaller, lower value items via Royal Mail or any other service. (Not including Scottish Highlands, Scottish Isles, Northern Ireland, Guernsey, Jersey, and Isle of Man where charges will vary).

Delivery service charges will vary depending on the quantity of product ordered, the related parcel size, and destination postcode. Live shipping rates will be calculated at checkout using ShippyPro and dependent on criteria, you will be given the option of DHL, DPD, or FedEx courier services.

All Forge products are sold with a Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU) status and an import tariff may apply to your order. Customers will be contacted by the Customs and Excise authority in the destination country regarding payment prior to delivery, and it is important that correct contact telephone number and email information be submitted with the order to facilitate this part of the delivery process. Some couriers are charging an admin fee for shipping into the EU.
If we detect at checkout that you are located within the European Union (EU), you are eligible for a contribution towards your import duty and tax payments. We can add an additional 20% on the total cost of your order, we will then pay the duty and tax costs above your contribution. Forge Motorsport ships via either UPS, FedEx, DHL (primarily for outside of UK), DPD (primarily for UK), or any other courier we chose. Other shipping options may be available for an additional fee over and above the actual shipping costs. Once a product has left our warehouse and is in the possession of the shipping company, any claims must be made directly with that shipper however we can assist with most cases.

I recently installed this recirculating kit on my Skoda Scala and it seems to work, but the valve orientation as shown in the pictures and in the installation manual seems incorrect. For all dump valves, the pressure side is at the bottom of the valve, on the opposite side of the vacuum port. Since dump valves and recirculating valves work on the same basic principle, the valve should be installed with the bottom oriented towards the boost pipe and not the intake pipe. Can you confirm this?

Hello. The DV 008 remains open at Idle due to the 1.5 tsi vacuum on the large plunger surface. Installed Blue spring also pulls pluger open at idle. Red spring installed and even this one is slighty pulled open by the vacuum by the 1.5 tsi and seems not ideal. To get fast response and a good run at idle the valve must be closed at idle and should only open after trottle is releases and imidiatly close again. Any advise to get the valve closed at idle?
The valve is meant to be open during idle (sucked open via the port at the top of the valve as the flow at this port reverses to vacuum when off the throttle); engine stall is likely if the valve is forced shut during idle as the charged air has nowhere to go - with the valve open the charged air is diverted to the turbo inlet hose to avoid build up of pressure when the throttle body closes off when off the throttle.
Hello Forge, I want to buy the Recirculation Valve set FMDV30, and install this on a Tiguan 1.5 TSI, MC: DADA. As I don't want the obvious blow-off valve sound, the Recirculation Valve suits better :) . If i am correct I also need the air intake silicone hose between the turbo and the air-filter, which is part of intake filter set FMINDK35. However, I want to maintain my original air filter box. So I do not need the cone-filter and bracket. Only the silcone hose, with recirculation valve connection, for connecting the turbo to the air filter box, and the required mounting parts (such are turbo interface flange), right? :) Questions: 1. So for this update I need set FMDV30 and FMINDK35, but want should I buy if i want FMINDK35 without the cone filter parts? What set or parts (#PN?) should I buy in stead of the total filter set FMINDK35? (I want to keep using my originale airbox filter. I will not use the cone filter.) 2: Is the silicone hose of set FMINDK35 compatible to connect with originale filter air box? Many thanks!
Hello , I’m sorry but the intake hose will not fit with the oem airbox, with the open cone intake the recirculating valve is actually fairly loud and the valve acoustics can certainly be heard, we would recommend buying the atmospheric version if you wish to use the oem intake.

Hello , the product you need is FMDV22 , please choose the additional breather adapter if needed, the website description shows you how to identify this, this valve will give you the famous whoosh noise when the throttle is lifted or between gear changes.
I Have a 1,5 tsi (my19) skoda karoq with engine code DADA can i install this kit in my car and plug all the other hoses on the side and use only the recirculation valve (I don't want to use the other kit with the blow off valve) or not? thank you in advance.
