Why buy the Forge Fiat 500 dump valve? Your Fiat 500 is equipped with an electronic solenoid driven valve from the factory, which is integrated into the functions of the ECU, and unplugging or removing the valve will result in a check engine light on the dashboard.
The Forge solution is to retain the solenoid operation, but to use it to divert vacuum and boost pressure to the valve, to make it into a more traditional valve driven by air pressure. The Forge valve will give you a product that is superior in its construction and durability over the OEM valve, and of course the forge is serviceable and guaranteed for life.
Over time the OEM valve begins to leak, and in some cases the plastic piston goes brittle and breaks.
The Forge valve doesn’t suffer with either of these problems as it uses an aluminium piston and is totally rebuildable. It’s also configurable for different levels of boost pressure e.g. on a remapped car, by simply changing the piston preload spring inside the valve.

- The Forge atmospheric Blow Off valve for the Fiat 500 Abarth T-Jet made from billet aluminium.
- This atmospheric blow off valve dumps the charge-air to atmosphere creating the "Whoosh" sound when the throttle is lifted.
- This improves the throttle response and increases the clamping load to maintain boost pressure more reliably.
- Unlike single piston or diaphragm diverter valves, this uses counter balanced springs and dual pistons to prevent the valve from leaking air into the intake system at idle.
- This prevents our blow off valves suffering any of the failures associated with single piston and diaphragm type diverter valves.
- The kit is complete with all fittings and includes a replacement solenoid and wiring harness to activate the valve to retain the engine management functionality.
- The valve itself is of dual piston design for longevity with the ability to be serviced and tuned with replacement springs if required. (See below)

The part is clearly made to a high standard and came with everything necessary to fit to the car with instructions included via a QR code you can scan with your phone. These instructions were easy to follow although it was fitted to a series 4 the diagrams are a little outdated but nothing you can’t figure out yourself.
it took a little tinkering But upon start up and letting the car warm up all of the work was worth the noise and I couldn’t be happier. A lot of people complain and advise you to get the recirculating bov but honestly I do not see any difference!
My initial thought was the kit is made to the usual high standard I expect from Forge products. The instructions were extremely clear and easy to follow.
The kit worked perfectly and the noise is amazing especially when paired with the forge motorsport intake.

I ordered my new dump valve and true to form it arrived the next day. I've never had an issue waiting for anything I purchase.
On opening the box the kit was made to a high standard and included everything to fit it on the car. The instructions are available to download from forge and this only took a minute or so. They are very easy to follow and include colour pictures to assist you. The total project took an hr and no problems were encountered.
Once fitted I took the car out on a test drive and wasn't disappointed. The valve works perfectly and the noise is superb. Absolutely thrilled with my purchase.

The majority of Forge Motorsport products come with a limited lifetime warranty (brakes pads excluded). All warranty claims must be accompanied by the original proof of purchase to enable us to help you. Failure to supply this proof will result in your claim or enquiry being denied.

Do not use aggressive (acidic) car cleaning products, particularly traffic film remover solutions or shampoos to clean your intercooler, radiator, or oil cooler. The use of these products can damage Forge Motorsport cooling systems and invalidate your warranty. These are often found at car washes. A light, warm, soapy solution (free of harsh acidic cleaning compounds) should be used to clean you cooler and thoroughly rinsed away. We recommend that you should inspect your product on a regular basis for bent and/or crushed fins. Any bent fins should be carefully straightened to allow ambient air to pass through the core face. At the time of installing your Forge radiator, an approved coolant must be used and added to the coolant system. Be sure you never mix coolant and always use distilled water.
This warranty does not apply to any defect in the goods arising from fair wear and tear, wilful damage, accident, negligence by you or any third party, use otherwise than as recommended by the supplier, failure to follow the supplier’s instructions, or any alteration or repair carried out without the supplier’s approval.

Delivery is free of charge for all orders £200 (ex VAT) or over. Products are sent by standard DPD service which is usually a next day service, but can take 2 days in transit. We reserve the right to ship smaller, lower value items via Royal Mail or any other service. (Not including Scottish Highlands, Scottish Isles, Northern Ireland, Guernsey, Jersey, and Isle of Man where charges will vary).

All Forge products are sold with a Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU) status and an import tariff may apply to your order. Customers will be contacted by the Customs and Excise authority in the destination country regarding payment prior to delivery, and it is important that correct contact telephone number and email information be submitted with the order to facilitate this part of the delivery process. Some couriers are charging an admin fee for shipping into the EU.

Forge Motorsport ships via either UPS, FedEx, DHL (primarily for outside of UK), DPD (primarily for UK), or any other courier we chose. Can this be used on a Punto Abarth 1.4 T-jet?
No, the part number FMDVPUNTA is the correct blow off valve product for the earlier Grande Punto models with the 1.4 T-jet engine.
Can this be put on the 2010 ABARTH 160hp IHI turbo? And what is the difference between this and the "Recirculation Valve and Kit for Fiat 500 Abarth T-Jet"? Thanks.
good morning , yes this valve is suitable for the model in question, the difference between the atmospheric and recirculating valves are , the atmospheric valve releases the pressurized air into the atmosphere making a loud audible whoosh when the throttle is released , the recirculating valve returns air back into the inlet tract and does not sound of when the throttle is lifted or between gear changes.
HI, Does the blow off valve kit come with a bung for the induction kit once the stainless steel pipe is removed as per instructions. I have already fitted the forge induction kit and silicon turbo hose. I have an Abarth 595 Comp 2013 160bhp.
